Gilbert is a cheeky bird, always up to playing tricks. He's never happier than when pulling a prank. If you turn your back on him for a minute, you'll find something has gone missing.

Arthur is a great thinker, always over analysing every situation. This can be very tiring for an intelligent bird. At night he will still be thinking about what has happened through his day until he finally goes to sleep.

Anita Harris Studio Open Day with special guest Andrew Hull. Taking place at 1 Minkstone Works, Normacot Road, Longton, Stoke on Trent, ST3 1PR. 

Famous artists, Anita Harris, Sam Johnson and Pete Harris invite you to their truly unique Pottery Studio, full of quality ‘British Hand Painted Ceramics’.  Anita Harris was former ‘Head Designer’ at Poole Pottery and later worked for Moorcroft Cobridge.  Well regarded by professional expert Eric Knowles as a ‘Collectable of the future’, Anita is opening the Anita Harris Art Pottery Studio for a special event with friend and artist Andrew Hull, also formally of Moorcroft.

This is the completed model of Arthur - finished height will be around 11 inches. Arthur will be launched this summer with Gilbert.

Here is a picture of me by the stand after my dad and I had set up on the Friday for Innovations in Ceramic Arts Show, at the Guildhall Cambridge November 2016.The show was a great success thanks to my loyal collectors who turned up over the two days and purchased some of my more recent pieces of work.

  

 

I was thrilled that at the Cambridge Show i was joined by Edwin Martin's (one of the youngest of The Martin Brothers) Granddaughter Lois Cope.  Also present with Lois was her Granddaughter Rosie who is studying in Cambridge and Husband Brian who i really enjoyed talking to.  Lois had a friend who saw my work in the Potteries Museum in Hanley Stoke-on-Trent and told her of my work and then Lois got in contact with me and a little bit if History was made.I have gained a very good friend thanks to the Martins connection.

 

 

A great day was had at Anita's open day on the 15th October. A rare trial piece of Norman with his white beak was on show. Henry Sandon was there to give his expert opinion on matters and he was very interested at looking into the cabinet to see all the different characters. Henry has been a great supporter of my work over the years and I got him to sign some of my books under the section that he wrote. A big thank you to Anita for letting me exhibit my work on the day and looking forward to the next one.

26th July 2014: Launch of 'Close Encounter', a small double piece, at Glazed Art (Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent).

4th-6th July 2014: We will be exhibiting our work at the 20th 'Art in Clay' show at Hatfield House, Hertfordshire, AL9 5NQ. Please come along and see any new pieces.
